1. Description of Coaching

Coaching is a collaborative partnership between the Coach and the Client. It is a thought-provoking and creative process designed to support the Client in exploring personal goals, gaining clarity, and identifying steps forward. Coaching is not therapy, counselling, or medical advice, and does not substitute for professional mental health or medical support.

2. Coach-Client Relationship

The Coach agrees to maintain the ethics and standards of behaviour established by the International Coach Federation (ICF).

The Client is solely responsible for their own physical, mental, and emotional well-being, and for any decisions, choices, actions, and results arising from the coaching session. The Coach is not liable for any direct or indirect outcomes of the session.

The Client acknowledges that coaching does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders and is not a substitute for counselling, psychotherapy, substance abuse treatment, or other professional services. If the Client is currently under the care of a mental health professional, it is recommended they inform that provider of their participation in coaching.

In order to make the most of the session, the Client agrees to communicate honestly, remain open to reflection, and bring their full presence and engagement.

6. Confidentiality

All information shared during the coaching session is held in confidence. The Coach agrees not to disclose any information pertaining to the Client without their written consent, and will not share the Client’s name as a reference without consent.
